Ravindra Randeniya

Ravindra Randeniya the actor was born, 25 years after Boniface Perera was born! Although I joined my father’s business after finishing my school, I was very interested in theatre. The first time I appeared before the public was when I acted as King Kashyapa in a school drama. I was in Fifth Standard at St. Benedict’s College then. We had a very vibrant theatre in the 60s especially with the advent of Professor Sarathchandra’s Maname and Sinhabahu.
